The interior design industry in India is fragmented, opaque, and heavily weighted against the homeowner. Vendors are selected on social media aesthetics. Contracts are vague. Payments are pressured. And when things go wrong — delays, substandard work, materials not as specified — homeowners have nowhere to turn and no data to rely on.
